Firstly, thank you  for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Secondly i would like to inform you regarding my intentions this year including some statistics.

What is a refugee?

A person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster.

Since 2019, people have faced terrible and difficult circumstances in Lebanon. A majority of the population have been thrust into poverty. Accessing essentials like healthcare, electricity, fuel, food and water has become difficult.

According to the UN, approximately three-quarters of Lebanon’s population now live below the poverty line

 There are more than 1.7 MILLION REFUGEES who need our help. My purpose is to raise funds to help refugees in terms of food, finance, in such cold weather conditions and with livelihood opportunities. 

The money raised will go towards food packs and several projects such as the tuk tuk project which will enable people to work and provide for their own families. 

God willing I also intend to travel and help volunteer in Lebanon myself. Please support this cause as they need us and the majority of us have homes, safety, people who support and love us, secure jobs and countless opportunities to excel in life.
