For the last 10 years whenever the London marathon has been on the TV have said I could do that and now I get to see if I actually can.
We both are January runners. By February we are usually retired from the sport.
The best part of this is that my vertically challenged brother Darren will also be running alongside/along way behind me. This is payback for making me watch Star Trek as a kid if I didn't go to the sweet shop for him.
Each year, Guild Care supports over 3,000 local older people, carers, people with dementia, families with children with special needs and disabilities, older people with learning difficulties and encourage exercise and well being for everyone over the age of 50.
They do this through a range of services which include a year round community and outreach programme, home care services, sheltered housing and residential care homes and their Ashdown services for children and young people with special needs. They also provide a range of dementia support to local people at every stage of the disease from community based respite services through to residential care. In addition, this year they will be ~

Raising funds for their new dementia facilities - Haviland House and the Bradbury Wellbeing Centre.Expanding the current respite services they offer to people with dementia and their carers.
