Women's Running + Women's Aid Appeal

Women's Running + Women's Aid Appeal · 20 January 2021
2020 has been a devastating year. But for women and children suffering from abuse, it was also a dangerous one. Women's Running are working together with Women's Aid because we know that now more than ever, survivors of domestic abuse need our support.
Over the past 45 years, Women’s Aid has been at the forefront of shaping and coordinating responses to domestic abuse through practice, research and policy. Women's Aid empowers survivors by keeping their voices at the heart of our work, working with and for women and children by listening to them and responding to their needs.
Women's Aid provides desperately needed lifesaving services to women and children across the country. They provide training for professionals working with survivors, they provide research to inform their work, they campaign to achieve change in policy, and encourage healthy relationships to build a future where domestic abuse is no longer tolerated. Women's Aid support services include the Live Chat Helpline, the Survivors’ Forum, the No Woman Turned Away Project, the Survivor’s Handbook, Love Respect (a dedicated website for young people in their first relationships), the national Domestic Abuse Directory and advocacy projects, which help thousands of women and children every year.
All of this needs money. And that's where you come in.
Women's Running, with your support, is hoping to raise £1000 for Women’s Aid. Please help us in supporting this crucial support network by giving what you can.
