London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·

Whether you are running the marathon or sponsoring someone who's taking part for us, thank you. Together you are all helping us to provide essential services to local people affected by terminal illness.

Story

Despite swearing blind at the finish line of the London Marathon in 2016 that I would never run a marathon again, I've inexplicably continued to enter the ballot every year since.

Six years have passed, and with my yearly running mileage nearing zero in 2022, you can imagine my delight when I received the email in October confirming I'd been lucky enough to secure a 2023 place.

So, six years on and somewhat less light on my feet, I've dusted off the running shoes and will be running the Brighton Half Marathon (26th Feb) and the London Marathon (23rd April) to raise money for The Martlets - a charity close to my heart, who provide incredible support to those living with cancer. Please donate what you can so we can raise much needed funds for this amazing charity!

This one's for you, Charlotte x
