(As you might already know) I do a lot of swimming events and usually it's just for the "fun" and the competition. Over the last few years my swimming has seen me completing and competing in 2km, 5km and 10km races - even having the joy of winning a couple.

This year is slightly different. This summer the plan is to swim the length of Coniston Water (8.4km) on 25th June, the length of Ullswater (12km) on 15th July and also the length of Windermere (18km) on 2nd September.

I am being spurred on by the usual two motivations - finish the swim as fast possible, try to finish in first place. However, this time I am also trying to raise money for a wonderful charity called Level Water:

Level Water provide 1-1 swimming lessons across the UK for children with disabilities .A swimming lesson for a child with disabilities costs £15 and that £15 might just change their life. So please sponsor me if you can, all donations, no matter how big or small, will be much appreciated and all of the money goes directly to this brilliant cause.
