Donations cannot currently be made to this page

Step-Tashy · 1 November 2020

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Coaches at King Cross Park Under 12s Anthony Irvine, Andy Brocklehurst, Aaron Mcloughlin and Gavin Sanderson are raining money for MND, now on board aswell is Macauley Nortcliffe from Sowerby United. Another member now has joined Dexter ‘Kelvin’ Moran from King Cross Park u12s Top effort from him.

Please donate however big or small any donation will really helps, I’m doing 15k steps everyday in November and also growing a very bad Tash, my own daughter won’t come near me as it’s so bad, but it’s least I can do to look like this for a month in order to raise much needed funds.

My mate Rob Burrow is showing true courage and strength and battling through such a tough time for him and his family, more needs to be done to find a cure for this aweful disease, let’s all do our bit to ensure lives are not ruined in the future. Rob is a true warrior and has battled throughout his career against the odds, he is someone who I look up to and spent many great times with him at the start of his Rugby Journey and touring Aus together.  Although only a small challenge it’s something achievable but I also encourage anyone who wants to join me to get involved and raise as much as we can, please get in touch if you would like to help.

Many also remember Smudger at Siddal RLFC who was a true gent and also a warrior it would be fitting to also do this in Smudgers name, it’s something close to my heart and something I’ll be doing all I can in the future to try do my little bit in whatever way I can.

I know it’s not a good time for everyone at the moment but any donation will help towards a fight for more research and a cure

Thanks Irv
