At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My wife's Nanna Sylvia had Alzheimer's and so it is a charity very close to our hearts. Her Great Auntie Queenie is currently suffering from dementia.

Alzheimer's is the most common cause of dementia. There are currently more than 520,000 people in the UK with Alzheimer's. There is currently no cure however the Alzheimer's Society are dedicated to defeating dementia through research. They fund research into the cause, cure, care, and prevention of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease, to improve treatment for people today, and search for a cure for tomorrow.
