Claire House Children’s Hospice helps seriously & terminally ill children live life to the full, creating wonderful memories & bringing back a sense of normality to family life. Through specialist nursing & emotional support Claire House helps families smile when life couldn’t get any tougher.

Story

I have decided to do a number of challenging events in memory of my little sister Rosie to help raise money for a charity that has had a massive impact on Rosie and my family.

List of events: Liverpool Half Marathon, Manchester Full Marathon, Tough Mudder in London, Tough mudder north west, 175 mile coast to coast cycle, .40 mile bike ride.

Rosie suffered from a rare gentetic disroder call Rett Syndrome and sadly passed away on 5th January 2013 aged just 14. She was a special little girl who was always smiling and brought out the best in anyone that met her. Throughout her life she attended Claire House Children's Hospice, the hospice provides a place for children with life-limiting conditions and their families to unwind and forget about their daily routines. Our Rosie loved going to Claire House and she was always surrouned by loving people and carers.

Clare House staff made Rosie's last few days as comfortable as possible, they gave physical and emotional support that helped us all.

The hospice needs as much support as possible to help other children like Rosie and their families, so I would really appreciate it if you could sponsor me and help this great cause!

Thank you x
