Story

Loch Fyne to Paris

Loch Fyne to Paris 14th-17th July 2016

Bière, frites et pavé c’est tout bien!

2016 will be Ripcor’s 10th anniversary & what better way to celebrate than by riding the route of our first ever cycling adventure from London to Paris – and the birth of Ripcor Cycling Club.

This ride will form a large part of our fundraising effort for The PACE Centre in 2016. It will be organised by Simon Ekless of PACE and run exclusively for Ripcor members.

Departing on Thursday 14th July from Loch Fyne, Ascot, we will head down to the Port of Newhaven for our ferry crossing to France on Day One. Day Two and Three will see us pedal across Northern France, into Paris where we will finish under the Eiffel Tower Before cycling the last few ‘Ekless’ miles to our hotel. And no doubt we will spend the evening in a suitable restaurant to toast ourselves Ripcor style! On Sunday 17th July we will return to London via Eurostar. Our bikes will be returned to the UK by road.
