At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Ron's JustGiving page.

Mark and his pals have decided to get on the pedals and cover a large portion of the Men's Olympic Route, an estimated 60 miles, on 21st May 2011.  This is for the wonderful charity - Alzheimers Society - who did a great job in looking after Ron through this soul destroying illness and helping him have some dignity in his latter days.

Team members participating are Mark Smith, Anthony Roberts, Kevin & Bern Lyons, Peter Green, Frank Mulroe, Sean Daly, Peter Davin, Paul Reid and open to anyone else who fancies having a day out on the pedals. Starting at Richmond Common, then on to Kingston, Hampton Court, out to Guildford back to Dorking Hill and to the summit of Boxhill then off for a well earned beer and a bbq. Estimated 4-5 hours - sore bums Sunday!

All donations gladly welcome no matter how small. Please tick for gift aid to top up your already generous contribution to such a worthy cause.
