All Around My Hat 

Around my red hat on all my 'runs' are the names Jude, Digby, Mandy, Charles and Elizabeth.  The oldest of the five reached 57. 

2022 was my 8th year of running for charity (1 for Cancer Research UK and 7 for MacMillan Cancer Support) and in memory of these fine people. I've now run 23 half marathons and 4 marathons.  

My last marathon was on October 16th 2022 (see photo) at the Yorkshire marathon which completed a 70th Year challenge of 70 x 7 miles+ runs, 2  x Great North Runs (half marathons) and a marathon. 

2023 will see me run my 9th consecutive Great North Run and gain donations to Macmillan from performing my one-man "Be More Happipreneur" Show based on the 5* rated book "The Happipreneur". 

In addition £2 from each sale of my many books (fiction and non-fiction) from wherever you buy a book, including Amazon, will mean a £2 donation to Macmillan. 

I really hate asking for donations as I know that both online and in the eating and drinking places I frequent in Scarborough and Cayton bay (thanks to The Grind, The Teapot and Lucy's Shack) it will be the same generous folk who give year after year.  Thank you for supporting my Annual Challenges. 

I've kept the target rolling onwards and upwards so that you can see how much you've already achieved. We did it in 2022 and we'll do it again in 2023. THANK YOU.
