This year I have been inspired to take the plunge and take part in the Great North Run 2018 after putting it off, year after year, for about a decade. 

After getting involved with a local Teesside Foundation after starting to work for AV Dawson, I have been totally bowled over by the work this charity does.

The Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation supports many great causes across Teesside with donations distributed to local good causes including community groups, charities, schools & homeless initiatives. .

The team behind the foundation work tirelessly to make Teesside a better place to live, work and do business. Over the years Teesside has had many knocks and setbacks but we are determined to paint Teesside in a positive light, change perceptions and showcase the many wonderful things that happen in the region.With this in mind I would love to raise as much money as possible so the charity can continue  their hard work and help the people in our region that need it the most.
