Story
I am volunteering to cycle 112 miles with 12000ft of climbing (equivalent to 3 times up Ben Nevis I think) around the Lake District on the 13th May 2018 to try and raise some funds for the North West Air Ambulance.
The Fred Whitton Challenge is a tough event but I am hoping to complete it and raise some money for the North West Air Ambulance. As an ‘outdoors’ family and with friends who are all lovers of the outdoors it worries me that it is often taken for granted that in the event of an accident 'they would get a helicopter out to us'. Not if they haven't got the funds to - they can't.
Please donate what you can to help Spur me on - particularly the bit where they expect me to go up Hardknott Pass (a 30% gradient for 400m after I have already ridden 99 miles!
Thank you
