Story

Francis House is a lifeline to over 500 families from across Greater Manchester including Oldham, Bury, Rochdale, Salford and Trafford.

It provides high levels of clinical care and physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual care to families of children and young adults with life limiting and life threatening conditions, along with providing a specialist palliative care provision.

This will be a challenge to me, and I have funded my travel (to and from the border and also an 88 mile taxi back to my car); also accommodation each night and supplies so that 100% of your donations can go to this great cause.

I agreed to the walk to support my friend who was cycling from Barcelona to Manchester to raise money for an ambulance for St Mary's hospice. However he smashed through his target and therefore I have researched another charity to support.

I'm grateful for any donation.
