So, where do I start.

On the 10th May 2025 we welcomed our beautiful daughter Paisley to the world.

She was born with a condition which meant we had to bring her early and it was quickly known she wasn’t very well at all.

She was rushed from Whiston hospital to Alder Hey the same day.

The care Paisley got at Alder Hey is something we will never ever forget, I could not speak highly enough of every staff member we came across in the three weeks we stayed in for.

From nurses to doctors to cleaners to the kitchen staff, all second to none and the horrific time we endured was made that little bit easier through this.

It wasn’t just the care of Paisley we were impressed with, it was care given to us as parents also!.

Myself and Joe will be climbing Snowdon at night on 10th August(morning of) In aid of this incredible hospital that we are so very lucky to have on our doorstep.

Joe who is walking this with me also has an incredible affinity with this hospital after his sister was under their care in the past and it’s amazing that the care given has never dwindled in the years in between.
