Story
Every year Edinburgh medical students organise and perform in a dance, strip and variety show to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. All money raised before, during and after the show is donated to TCT and since 2013, the Reveal has raised £70,000 to help fund the work of this amazing charity.
This year I have signed up to participate in a dance as part of the ladies football team.
On the night of the 28th March we will be performing for an audience of ~1000 people which in itself is actually terrifying. However, it’s a really fun and lighthearted way to raise money for what we believe is a very important cause.
Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only charity dedicated to making this happen through creating world-class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people dont have to face cancer alone.
