Virgin London Marathon 2015 · 26 April 2015 ·

We believe every blind veteran should be able to lead the life they choose. At Blind Veterans UK we’re one, transformational team. We provide rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support. Together we can help rebuild lives.

Story

I am an AgustaWestland graduate trainee, working in Yeovil's EMC department, taking on the internationally renowned London Marathon on 26th April fundraising for Blind Veterans UK.

I will take on the 26.2 mile course around the river Thames to benefit one of the charities supported by AWASA during Westland’s Centenary year. The charity, which is also celebrating its 100th anniversary, provides support to vision-impaired ex-Service men and women to give them the skills needed to re-discover their lives.

Donations can also be made by cash or cheque (made payable to AWASA) to Jessica Holt, Building 247

AWASA will also be holding a gate collection in Yeovil on Thursday 19th February to support my fundraising.
