To support and raise awareness for a very worthwhile charitable cause, I am taking part in a charity bike ride with friends in hilly Yorkshire for Action Medical Research.  I expect to cover more than 300km over two and a half days, which is a daunting challenge and way beyond anything I have done previously.

Action Medical Research, a UK-wide charity saving and changing childrens' lives through medical research. Action Medical Research fund a broad range of cutting-edge medical research most likely to deliver real benefit to babies, children and young people. 

The ride is with a group of cyclists called the "Badgers" who have been doing great work raising money for Action Medical Research for a number of years.
