Virtual 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon · 4 October 2020 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

In 2020 Antony was planning to cycle across America to raise money for the MS Society, but Covid-19 means that these plans are on hold. Like many people, we've spent the last 6 months at home, so we've decided to get a bit of exercise and raise a few £££ for the MS Society by taking part in the 40th London Marathon. You might remember that Antony "ran" this in 2019 - and that it didn't end particularly well (in fact, it ended on a stretcher). So this year we'll be walking.

Starting in Burley-in-Wharfedale, where Antony's mum lives, we'll walk 13 miles along the Rvier Wharfe to Bolton Abbey - and back again. We'll be on our feet for approximately 10 hours - and yes, Antony will be wearing THAT orange tutu!
