Story

Hi thanks for visiting my page on 2nd October 2022 I'm running in the London Marathon to raise vital funds Brain Tumour Research, as part of Team Boobs and Brains, please follow the link to there page to read there story and why we need to raise as much money as possible for vital research

Back in 2011 my sister Karen's life was cruelly  cut short by a very rare and aggressive form of lung cancer, shortly after her death my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer, she had her breast removed and following a course of chemo therapy was thankfully given the all clear, sadly cancer returned in 2017 and within the space of a mouth my mum had passed away .

A year before my mum's death my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour and despite surgery he also passed away.

My wife's family has also been affected by cancer, my mother in law had surgery and chemo for treatment of lung cancer, thankfully she has made a full recovery.

In 2016 my wife's sister Jane sadly passed away following a long and brave 7 year battle with a brain tumour,

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
