Story
After overcoming a life-threatening pulmonary embolism and being diagnosed with Lupus and Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) in February 2024 at the age of 24, Anu made it his mission to overcome the physical limitations that these conditions imposed on him.
After his diagnosis, doctors advised Anu to avoid any physical exertion, but he was not the kind to sit still and be held back. He actively hiked the highlands of Scotland and did walking expeditions, including walking from Edinburgh to Glasgow and London to Canterbury.
Now, he brings together two of his favorite things, walking and Scotland, to bring awareness to APS and raise money for APS Support UK, a charity dedicatedly working to offer support, fund research and create awareness around this rare condition.
Support Anu in walking the 21-mile Mighty Stride at the Kiltwalk this September in Edinburgh. Cheers and Glory to Christ!
