I'm part of a fundraising team with lovely folks from Brighton and Barcelona. We're raising £3,100 for educational materials for children in South India.

#Fundraiseforadesk is an endeavour to provide better school facilities in a remote and poor region of Tamil Nadu. To accomplish this task, Indian Futures is collaborating with the Development Society at the University of Sussex and Futuraula at Euroaula University School of Barcelona.

This campaign aims to help Vedanthangal nursery school, a lovely educational home to many of India’s children. The school provides quality education to India’s lower-caste Dalit children, who are often forced to start working very young. We want to change this. No child should have to miss out on education. With your donations, we hope to provide desks and chairs for children. In hopes of a better, and more promising tomorrow.
