Story
Article 1 of the human rights state that; "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity in rights." Yet millions of people have been ignored by the media or mainstream news in Yemen. Powerful leaders have turned their back to this senseless war.
As someone whose family roots stem from Yemen and as a human being I can no longer watch the suffering of the Yemeni people. The senseless war has killed thousands and destroyed millions of people's lives. People; especially innocent women and children, the elderly are at the brink of death. The war has completely ravaged the infrastructure. As a result there is no food, no clean water, no access to schools, no access to basic rights. In 2016 due to the lack of any system in place this led to a massive outbreak of cholera and other communicable diseases that led to nearly half a million people dying and it's still happening. The blockade of the airport in Sana'a further led to more shortages of medication, food and other extreme necessities leading to more death of innocent lives.
I reach out to you, one human to another, we are better than this. We have the power to help in our own little ways. Please help me make an impact and save a life. I am raising essential funds to cover the basics of food, water, hygiene and PPE supplies for the victims of the world's worst humanitarian crisis of this generation. Aid will be distributed within Taiz city, Aden and Al Hudaydah by Global Rahma Foundation.
Please join me in this cause and remember a random act of kindness goes a long way.
Thank you.
