Many of you will know that for her fifth birthday, Anya decided she didn't want lots of presents and instead wanted money to be donated to a charity which helps children who are not as lucky as her.

Everyone respected her very grown-up attitude and she was able to help ActionAid help impoverished children around the world.

On 20th July 2105, Anya will be 8 and for the fourth year in a row, she again would prefer if people made a donation to ActionAid rather than buy her a present.
