Story

Hello to you all,

My names Anya Woolsey i'm just going to explain why i am so keen on fundraising for the Queens Medical Centre Nottingham childrens wards and eye department. On the 4th December 2009 i gave birth to the most precious little girl Chloe when she was just hours old the doctors told us that she may never be able to see due to a condition called congenital cataracts which is rare in children usually found in elderly people. We were transferred to Nottingham hospital and on the 7th January she had a life changing operation to remove the cataracts and save her vision. She then had to wear contact lenses up until february 2012 when she had another major operation to replaces her natural lenses. She can now wear glasses and loves them. The compassion and professionalism of the doctors, nurses and all other staff was great. They all work hard and enjoy there work. But this isn't just for Chloe this is for all the children that have to be within the hospital on a regular basis.

Thankyou
