The Kilmarnock Branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland are proposing to lay a wreath at each War Memorial in East Ayrshire to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Royal British Legion Scotland on 27th June 2021 and in memory of the fallen.
As such branch members will visit each memorial in East Ayrshire and lay a wreath on Sunday 27th June, this will be a one day event with the members travelling all around East Ayrshire untill we have attended all the sites.
All money raised will be used to purchase wreaths only, no money will be used to pay for fuel or vehicle costs.
Each wreath will be purchased from the Lady Haig Poppy Factory, do it will be a win win with them receiving the money
If you wish to have a loved ones name commemorated at a certain War Memorial please leave a message with their name and what memorial , along with you donation and we will take some pictures and post them on social media.
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support.
