I am taking part in the Kerry Challenge 2020 to help DEBRA Ireland fulfil their mission of CARE for people who suffer from the skin condition EB and help fund efforts to CURE this currently incurable condition. 

My beautiful niece Ellie and my wonderful nephew Oisin have a diagnosis of EB and while they now live relatively unhindered by the condition, it wasn't too long ago that  blister care, wound dressings and ointments we a daily and painful occurrence. Any support big or small you can provide would be hugely appreciated!

DEBRA Ireland care for those living with EB - an incredibly painful and debilitating skin condition which causes their skin to break and blister at the slightest touch. Your donation will help DEBRA Ireland care for those living with EB by providing many forms of support - that may be practical, emotional or financial.

DEBRA's mission on CURE focuses on funding research to find better treatments and to hopefully, one day, find a cure for EB.

My hopes for completing this hike for Debra Ireland is to create awareness around EB, raise some much needed funds for the charity Debra Ireland and most of all to make my family and most importantly Ellie and Oisin proud!
