Event: IRONMAN 70.3 Dun Laoghaire, on 25 August 2019

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!  This summer, I'll be undertaking a series of triathlon-based challenges in preparation for competing in the Ironman 70.3 in Dun Laoghaire in August.

In May, I will be cycling the length of the UK from Land's End to John O'Groats over a 2-week period. Quickly following this is the Edinburgh Half Marathon, which I am also competing in. Then will follow a summer of training in preparation for the Half Ironman in August.

I have decided to support Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind because not only do they train guide dogs, they also train assistance dogs for people with autism. Both guide dogs and assistance dogs can provide invaluable support and companionship to people of all ages through their lives, allowing them to become more independent despite their disabilities.

I would be extremely grateful if you could give anything you could to this cause, it would mean a lot to me but even more to the people whose lives will be changed through your generosity.
