A big ‘Thank You!’to all of you who have given to the Emergency Appeal so far, whether it was a large or small donation! We are sincerely overwhelmed the many, many kind and generous responses.

 

From today, 2nd August 2013, not only have we raised 75% of the target: £37,635.50 including Gift Aid; but so many members have also been in touch with words of encouragement, fundraising ideas, or simply to tell us why the BSA means the world to them.

 

Although the appeal has done amazingly well, we still need just under £10,000 plus Gift Aid to help us continue our work.

 

 This money will help us pay for services that are often difficult to raise money for: such as Norbert and Cherry’s lobbying work (for example on the current Children and Families Bill and its reorganisation of Special Educational Needs provision), Steven’s management of our social media presence, or Lee’s time managing our core Information and Support Service.
