Story

RNLI Appledore Fundraising Guild - Station to Station Walk 17 Sept 2022

An opportunity to walk from Clovelly Lifeboat Station to Appledore Lifeboat Station, a distance of 16 miles on the stunning South West Coastal Path on Saturday 1st October 2022 and support the RNLI Appledore.

Leaving Clovelly at 09:00 with frequent marshal posts, water and first aid cover, the walk should take approximately 5 hours, reaching Appledore Lifeboat Station in the afternoon, with transport provided if needed to return to Clovelly.

This is always a popular walk with one hundred walkers expected again this year. The scenery is stunning with magnificent views over Bideford Bay and many walkers have completed the route several times.

We encourage walkers to seek sponsorship but there is no pressure to achieve a set amount as we want everyone to enjoy the day and feel a sense of achievement.

Walkers completing the course will be rewarded with RNLI medals and a BBQ at Appledore Lifeboat Station.
