Run 125 laps of a 400m running track for the 125 who die by suicide every week in the UK.

Story

125 people die by suicide every week in the UK. RUN125 is an event to help raise awareness, and also raise funds for the suicide prevention organisation Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

I’m walking / running with a group of friends in memory of our friend Michelle who died by suicide just over a year ago on 28th August 2021. Together we will complete 125 laps of the Battersea 400m running track.

About CALM: We're the Campaign Against Living Miserably and we're taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and showing life is always worth living.125 lives are lost every week to suicide. 75% of all UK suicides are male. We exist to change this.
