Hi, my name is April and I am 12 years old. I have for some time now wanted to raise some money to help people who are affected by Dementia. It is an illness that is very close to my heart.  I thought it would be a good idea to do a litter pick in my village, that way we can raise money and also look after our community. The Great Big Litter Pick will take place on October 19th at 10am starting from the little park in Weldon and anyone who would like to come along is very welcome! Thank you all for your support. I am really looking forward to raising money for Dementia UK and helping people who are affected by this cruel illness. It is estimated that by 2025, the number of people with dementia in the UK will have increased to around 1 million so every penny helps.
