We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Our vision is a future where nobody dies of the disease.

Story

Bowel cancer is Scotland’s second biggest cancer killer. More than 3,700 men and women are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year in Scotland, and around 1,500 people die from the disease. If diagnosed at the earliest stage, bowel cancer treatable and curable. However, poor awareness means that only 1 in 10 cases are detected at an early stage which often means it is too late to be treated.

We are supporting Bowel Cancer UK and Beating Bowel Cancer in their work to research, campaign and raise awareness in Scotland.

As a team, we will #RowAMarathon on Friday 15th June from 1pm to 5pm, in the BioQuarter, Edinburgh. We will be competing against other teams to see who can row a marathon in the fastest time. But we will still keep going until we’ve reached 26.2 miles, taking around 4 hours.

Come join us! Or take part remotely.
