We chose the Ruth Strauss Foundation as we wanted to support a charity that is close to the heart of our school, and also closely linked with the BDFA due to the relationship the O’Connors have with it. 

The Ruth Strauss Foundation’s mission is to help families access professional emotional support when facing the death of a parent from cancer. With the funds raised the RSF will be able to train professionals to support families with compassion, when a parent hasn’t got much longer to live.
