Archie's Bloody Good marathon

Archies Bloody Good marathon · 30 May 2020
So for some dum reason, the only way to get people to donate to charity's is to do something ridiculous. So on the 30TH of may, i'm going to be running a marathon along the South Downs by myself to raise money for the charity 'Bloody Good Period'. BGP work to end period poverty across the globe. Along with providing menstrual products for people who cant afford them, they provide funding for education in the area with the goal of 'a period' being considered complelty normal in our culture.
I've chosen this charity as I have been very grateful and blessed to grow up with my 2 sisters and my incredible mum. My mum was amazing at growing us up with the idea of a period being a completely normal and something to be proud of. Growing up in my schools and culture and seeing how boys made girls feel so insure and embrassed about a period made me want to see a difference. And to also think that some women will face this abuse and not even be able to buy pads etc is so so upsetting and unfair. So until the day when menstrual supplies are free, bloody good period will continue to support women across our nation.
Please share this around, not because i'm running a marathon, but because we want to see an end to period poverty!
I'll be tracking my attempt on Strava so give me a follow to see my attempt!
