Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Mark Beaumont is

  • Patron of ARCHIE
  • From Blairgowrie
  • A much better cyclist than I am

I’m riding with him as he has organised a bike ride from the Ninewells Children's Hospital, to Raigmore Children's Hospital, to the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital, over 2 days in April this year.  The route goes over some of the most iconic, steep, and difficult climbs in the UK, including

  • The Cairnwell
  • Corgarf
  • The Lecht
  • Gairnshiel
  • The Cabrach

The route is approximately 256 miles, and 5,000m of climbing.  We aim to get it done in under 2 days.  And if I reach the £1000 target, I'll spend the Sunday riding back to Ninewells from Aberdeen, too!

Last year I did the New York Marathon for ARCHIE, and raised over £3000!  The target this year is less, but the deadline is soon, so if you can spare any amount to go towards the ARCHIE fund, please donate here!
