Story

.Hi everyone , I hope you are well.
I have had a great year and thanks to you, fundraising has played a major role in my recovery during such a crucial period of my life. It has given me a real purpose over the last few  years and has also helped Headway, the brain injury association.
I have been and still am raising money for Headway which supports a cause which is very close to my heart; due to the fact I sustained a brain injury 4.5 years ago. Since leaving rehabilitation, I have been working towards numerous qualifications and I have found that life has really opened up for me. I have been analysing my injury since sustaining it and while in the process of this I have found a true passion of mine, the mind and the effects positive can have over your surroundings and circumstances. By applying a growth mindset to the way we think this also significantly impacts our surroundings.. I have found that positive thinking makes the light at the end of the tunnel (your goal) appear a lot brighter. It  also has the ability to open numerous pathways for you leading to new routes in life. Positive thinking running parallel with other coping mechanisms have played a huge role in my recovery. I am now taking the challenge a step further and plan next year to tackle Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa and the tallest
free standing mountain in the world at a height of 5895 metres. I really can’t wait to get climbing.
Whilst it’s only a dream at the moment I would like to also travel the world and climb each of the seven summits, one in each
continent. Killamanjaro is one of  these. This would  begin the process for me and as many of you will know the first step is usually the hardest , but  one step at a time.

The timing for Kilimanjaro for Headway  is September next year and for this, I need to raise £5000!

Once again your help would be fantastic.
