Story

On the 25th of July, During this year's Shark Week I Arfon Jones, will watch 17 Shark Movies in one 24 hour sitting for charity.

Back in 2015 I raised £265 for Children in Need by watching all 12 of the Friday the 13th movies in one sitting (clocking up 20 and a half-hours) and now I intend to not only break my record but raise even more money this time for the Alzheimer’s Society!

During the challenge you will be able to check up on me and see how I get on via  my Facebook page www.facebook.com/arfon.net

So why am I doing this? Alzheimer's is a terrible condition that effected both my grandparents and so I am doing this for my grandmother Marie Julia Roberts and grandfather Wil Roberts who died this year. Alzheimer’s Society hopes to transform the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, they will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
