In the run up to Remembrance Sunday, RFA Argus’ Ships Company and Embarked Forces will be completing the 11/11 challenge for the #PoppyAppeal while deployed at sea 

The team plans to complete 11 hours of continuous activity to raise money for the Royal British Legion and to remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from Britain and the Commonwealth.

The 11 hours of activity will take place on the flight deck and will include 11 hours of continuous walking or individual efforts and challenges during 11 hour-long slots.

The Royal British Legion’s work has become more vital than ever as they support people from all generations of the Armed Forces community, especially those experiencing hardships as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in this particularly challenging year.

RFA Argus is currently deployed to the Caribbean region ready to support the British Overseas Territories during hurricane season and working with international partners conducting Counter-Narcotics Operations.
