The Hungry Caterpillar Walkathon · 9 April 2023

Since it was established in 2008, The Zahra Trust has provided millions of people across hundreds of communities throughout the world with relief and development aid. We aim to alleviate suffering, poverty and disadvantage as a result of conflict, natural disaster and discrimination.

Story

It is highly recommended to give charity during this holy month of Ramadan, and so we have decided to participate in the Hungry Caterpillar Walkathon for The Zahra Trust & friends to raise funds for hungry children around the world.

We would really appreciate if you could support our efforts.

All funds raised will go directly to The Zahra Trust Charity to help them carry out their important work.

The Zahra Trust is a charity organisation which was established in 2008. It has provided millions of people across hundreds of communities throughout the world with relief and development aid.

The Zahra Trust works to:

• Provide emergency aid to those in need as a result of conflict and natural disasters

• Provide seasonal aid throughout key periods such as Ramadhan, Eid ul-Adha and Muharram

• Provide food aid to families that experience a chronic lack of access to nutritional food items

• Empower communities through education and development programmes

• Facilitate access to quality healthcare and medication for those that are unable to afford it

• Support the institution of the family through the provision of welfare, easing the burden of breadwinners to provide

• Facilitate access to formal and spiritual education and training to enhance community development
