Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In 2017 we sadly lost our dear friend, Mark Sayer.  Mark was an avid cyclist and was instrumental to the success of the Jelf cycle team rides in both 2013 and 2016, when they successfully completed London to Paris and Venice to Rome.  It was Mark's ambition to complete the 160 mile cycle ride known as "The Wiltshire Way in a Day".

To honour Mark's memory and celebrate his life, his colleagues, cycle club, family and friends are committed to remembering his contribution to our lives by undertaking a new cycle challenge “A Ride with Mark – The Wiltshire Way in a Day” on 23 June 2018.  The ride will begin in his home town of Corsham travelling through the Wiltshire countryside ..... to accommodate everyone that would like to be involved, we will be organising a ride to suit all levels: a 40 mile circuit, a 70 mile circuit and the full strength challenge of completing the Wiltshire Way in a day (160 miles).

Our ambition is to raise a total of £30k for Parkinson’s UK, as well as additional funds for Dorothy House Hospice Care, which cared for Mark and his family so sensitively through his illness.

We would really appreciate if you could please help us to raise much needed funds for a fantastic charity that was incredibly close to Mark’s heart.
