Story
Arielle- When looking through Instagram I saw an advert for Chana recruiting for the marathon and lo and behold there in the advert photo was my brother Charlie! Out of 42,000 runners, he was chosen in the picture.
I felt that this was a sign for me, and I have signed up Charlie and myself to run the half marathon to raise money for Chana. For those of you who know me, you would know I am definitely not a runner, but I have decided to take this on and embrace it as my challenge. Sadly, there are so many people who deal with the challenge of infertility in many different forms. My children are my everything and the reason I am putting my health first. Chana as a charity is extremely important to us all and I hope that with the money made here, I will be able to help others full fill their dreams.
Charlie- I found the London Marathon in October 2022 a very moving experience. To be surrounded by thousands of people each with their own story, each with their own reasons for running was extremely motivating. I was fortunate enough to have incredible support on the day from family and friends, including my sister, Arielle. So when she said she spotted me in the Chana advert and asked if I wanted to register for the half marathon, I didn’t need to think about it. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to run alongside my sister, representing a charity that does such fantastic work.
Please help us reach our goal to make a difference to so many peoples lives.
