I am excited to share that I will be participating in the "Raptör 2025 - The Ride for the Insurance Industry," a remarkable cycling event dedicated to raising funds for Action Medical Research. This charity is the leading UK organisation committed to funding essential research aimed at helping sick and disabled babies, children, and young people. For over 70 years, Action Medical Research has been at the forefront of medical breakthroughs, contributing to significant advancements such as beating polio, fighting meningitis, preventing stillbirths, and developing ultrasound scanning in pregnancy.

As we gear up for this year's ride on July 9th, 2025, I want to highlight the urgent need for continued support in children's research. Action Medical Research is now focusing on combating rare diseases that affect our youngest and most vulnerable. Over the four exhilarating days, we will cycle an impressive 120 kilometres each day through stunning landscapes, including picturesque regions of North Sussex, Dover, Dunkirk, Ypres, and Ghent. Our adventure will culminate in Roubaix with a lap around the iconic velodrome.
