Welcome to the 2023 ABPA READATHON!

Every year the children of Ark Byron Primary Academy are invited to complete a series of challenges - encouraging them to explore new titles, and revisit old favourites. They can write a review of their best book, take a photo in their favourite place to read, design a book cover, start a book club - or even write to an author telling them why they love their stories.

And this is where you come in…
While the children are doing the hard work(!) all you need to do is sponsor them! You are welcome to give a specific amount - or you could pledge an amount for every task they accomplish. We would love to see photographs of the children carrying out their challenges and to see any artwork they produce.

Photos can be sent to arkbyronlibrary@gmail.com and artwork can be handed to class teachers.

All money raised from this years ABPA Readathon will be spent on brilliant new books for the Ark Byron Library - and classrooms. Every donation - large or small - is so appreciated and the children already have long lists of what they’d like to see on the shelves!

Ark Byron Primary Association (ABPA) is a registered charity run by parents and carers of the children who attend Ark Byron Primary Academy, a state-funded school in Acton, West London. All fundraising events are organised entirely by parent volunteers and funds raised are spent directly on much needed resources and enrichment activities for the school children.
