Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I 'successfully' completed this event last year.  I signed up to help  focus my mind on something positive and something I loved during a very stress period of my life.  A 1/2 IM has been on my 'To Do' list for awhile.  Focussing on something positive helped me stay mentally strong.  I found the training very difficult due to time and energy levels but I did it and I crossed the finish.   I didn't want to show my kids quitting was an option.  It was hard and long and I had forgotten my Garmin....it was awful.   I did surprised myself when I finished before the sun went down ie. I didn't need my head torch.  This year I am back and training is going well and I am enjoying it.  I am doing something I love to support the expansion of a profession I adore.  The power house couple (Ross and Becks) behind this project will deliver one of the best Chiropractic Colleges which will open their doors to students in 2020.

All Triathlon kit and entry fee has been paid myself.  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
