Out of the 4 of us cycling, only Andy is a regular cyclist!  Emily and Sheryl have just bought their bikes and Keith bought his about 4 years ago, rode 300 miles to raise money for Newark Patriotic Fund and hasn’t ridden it since. To some, 250 miles may not be far but to us it may as well be 250,00 miles. This will be a real challenge!!

The team will start from Calais and aim to arrive in Arnhem on 23rd September in plenty of time for for the 25th September celebrations for the anniversary of when "Operation Market Garden" ended.

We plan on visiting some of the historic sites and war graves on route, reminding us of the sacrifice given and the ongoing support for our local veterans that this fundraising will give.
