Story
Once again this could be my final half marathon. What better place than Jerusalem and maybe no better cause than Save a Child's Heart (SACH).
SACH is an Israeli non-governmental humanitarian organisation which saves the lives of children from all over the world suffering from heart disease and whose access to medical care is limited/non-existent.
SACH treats children regardless of race, religion, gender, nationality or financial status with all costs paid for by fundraisers globally.
Since 1995 SACH has saved the lives of 6,300+ children from 66 countries, carried out over 100 medical missions overseas. It has brought more than 140 local healthcare professionals to Israel for training so they can treat their own country's children independently and create local centres of excellence.
