Hi, I'm Keely.

For those who don't know me, I am an artist. A daughter. A sister. An aunty. A friend. A challenger of norms. A lover of life and all that it offers.

I have a unique communication style and I enjoy expressing myself creatively with colour. Art is a time and a place of mindfulness, where I can be present with my thoughts, be alone with with my dreams. I can be a voice for myself. When words are not possible, through the colour and material choices I make, I am sharing with the people around me, my feelings, my needs and desires, my worries and concerns and my joys too.

On 8 March, I am raising vital funds in support of UN Women programs that work to empower and protect women and girls in over 100 countries across the globe. 

I have created this beautiful pastel drawing in purples especially for International Women's Day - a global day celebrating the social, cultural, economic, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. 

My art is a demonstration of empowerment and inclusiveness. It plays a role in challenging preconceptions, discrimination and marginalisation. It's my way of #CrackingTheCode this International Women's Day.
