Cyclone Idai Emergency Appeal
Campaign by UNICEF UK (RCN 1072612 (England & Wales) and SC043677 (Scotland))
Cyclone Idai has triggered devastating floods across southern Africa. With almost 1 million children in danger, we urgently need your support.

Story

Thank you so much Sinfonia Cymru for allowing me to be part of this amazing concert in Cardiff.  The event features powerful music to raise awareness to the climate challenge.

My paintings will feature as part of the stage show visuals and will be exhibited and available for purchase to raise funds for Unicef's Cyclone Idai emergency appeal.

Cyclone Idai has triggered devastating floods across southern Africa. With almost 1 million children in danger, urgent support is needed.  Unicef is working with government and partners across the region to ensure children and families get the emergency supplies they need, and the vital support for the months ahead.

On 30 March, Sinfonia Cymru will be performing #profitpeopleplanet written by my daughter Helen Wilson.  The music is a creative approach to raise awareness to the climate challenge.

I am delighted that images taken from my paintings will be featured behind the musicians' platform during the performance.  The original paintings will also be exhibited on the evening.

More about the evening can be found at:

Anyone wishing to take a painting away from the exhibition can pay online at this page with all proceeds going in full to this important appeal.
