Story

I am going to cycle along the Kennet and Avon canal from Wootton Rivers (Where my great-great-great-grandad built the church clock) to Caen Locks in Devizes in order to raise money for Wiltshire Wildlife Trust.

If you want to donate to my other charity (Wiltshire Wildlife Hospital) go to the page for that one, which is https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising-edit/arthur-wildlife-hospital

From Wiltshire Wildlife Trust: 'Our vision is a sustainable future for wildlife and people. Where the county's rich tapestry of landscapes is full of wildlife valued by everyone and where people enjoy a high quality of life with minimal environmental impact. As threats to the natural world continue to impact on the county's wildlife we believe a bold approach is needed to tackle the causes of nature's decline before it's too late. Crucially, we base our work on sound knowledge and evidence and encourage people to explore, experience and enjoy the natural world around them.'

About the charity

Wiltshire has some of the most wildlife-rich places in the UK, and Wiltshire Wildlife Trust needs your help to make sure it stays that way. Together we can protect, conserve and enhance this wonderful county in which we live, work and play not just for wildlife but for people too.
